Margaret Scobie

Born in 1948 in Woola Downs (Northern Territory), Margaret is a senior woman in Utopia and speaks Anmatyerre. Many of her family are famous and internationally renowned artists. Due to Margaret’s experience and seniority, her paintings are sought after internationally and command a high ticket price as they are a true investment.

Margaret’s paintings often include the Bush Medicine Leaves which is part of Tjukurppa Dreamtime. Margaret’s cousin Gloria Petyarre a very famous utopian artist also painted bush medicine leaves designs however you will note Margaret’s designs feature a finer bush medicine leaf.
